To obtain the highest standard of homeopathic training, it is vital to choose a college offering homeopathic education that gives the student the confidence to start their practice. The curriculum needs to include a careful balance of both academic and practical subjects. The course lecturers should be qualified, experienced homeopaths and teachers able to instil confidence and the ability to practice in their students. Many complementary therapy colleges offer a range of homeopathic courses. Although homeopathy can be studied as part of a naturopathic or other complementary therapy course, the quality and depth of training is not to be confused with the standard of a specialist homeopathic college such as the Southern College of Homeopathy.
