Graduates receive
a Licentiate in Homeopathy, the standard qualification for practice in the UK. This qualifies students for membership
of a professional body and to start their own practice. The course involves external study and clinical work, with the
emphasis on developing and demonstrating clinical ability. The course is held over 10 weekends from October to July over
a 4-year period.
The first year
is a Foundation Year, by the end of which students will have gained a basic understanding of the principles
of homeopathic philosophy, and a working knowledge of how to select and administer homeopathic remedies in acute situations. The
following three years focus on developing students' skills as professional homeopaths and beginning to build up
